Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 17, 2026
What Does This Policy Cover?
Rise of Zeus is an epic match-3 survival puzzle game set on Mount Olympus. This Privacy Policy describes how Rise of Zeus ("we," "us," or "our") handles your information when you use the Rise of Zeus mobile application (the "App") on Android and iOS, and its companion website at ancients0010.com.
We promise we're not snooping around your phone. Here's the short list of what we actually look at (spoiler: it's not much).
What Information Do We Collect?
Automatically Collected Information
When you launch the App, we automatically collect a small amount of information to keep things running smoothly:
Anonymous Identifier. The App generates a random anonymous identifier on your device when you first open it. This identifier contains no personal information — it simply helps us understand general usage patterns. It stays on your device and persists until you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
Device Language. We detect your device's language and region setting so we can display content appropriately.
Advertising and Attribution
To understand how players discover Rise of Zeus, we use AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution service. When you install and use the App, the following information may be collected:
- Your device's advertising identifier — the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android, or the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS (the IDFA is only collected if you grant permission through the App Tracking Transparency prompt described below)
- An AppsFlyer installation identifier generated for your device
- Where you came from (for example, whether you found the App organically or through an ad campaign)
- The campaign name, if applicable, that led you to install the App
- Install attribution data describing how you arrived at the app store listing
Your anonymous identifier is also shared with AppsFlyer. AppsFlyer collects additional device data (such as IP address, device model, and operating system version) as part of its standard operation. For details, see the AppsFlyer Privacy Policy.
You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ad personalization at any time in your device settings:
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads
- iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising (to limit Apple-served ad personalization), and Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking (to revoke App Tracking Transparency permission granted to this app)
What About App Tracking Transparency on iOS?
On iOS 14.5 and later, Apple requires apps to ask for your permission before tracking you across apps or websites owned by other companies. The first time you launch the App on an iOS device, you will see a system prompt titled "Allow Rise of Zeus to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites?" with two options: Ask App Not to Track or Allow.
- If you tap Allow, the App and AppsFlyer receive your device's Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) along with the attribution data described above.
- If you tap Ask App Not to Track, the App does not receive the IDFA; attribution is measured using Apple's privacy-preserving mechanisms (such as SKAdNetwork) where available, and no cross-app identifier is collected.
- You can change your choice at any time under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking, or disable tracking globally for all apps in the same screen.
Built-in Browser
The App includes a built-in browser used to display this Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the App. The built-in browser supports cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage as part of standard browser behavior. It does not collect any additional data beyond what is described in the sections above. Any websites loaded in the built-in browser operate under their own privacy practices.
Support and Bug Reports
The App's Support page lets you send us a message or report a bug. When you submit a support request, you may provide:
- Your name and email address
- A description of your question or the issue you encountered
- An optional file attachment — you can take a photo or video using your device's camera, or choose an existing file (such as a screenshot, image, or document) through your device's file picker
This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and resolve the reported issue. The App itself does not access your camera directly — photo and video capture is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera app, which manages its own permissions.
Local Data Storage
The App stores your game progress, high scores, achievements, wheel spins, and preferences locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Why Do We Collect It?
No hidden agenda here — we collect data for these specific reasons:
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality
- To understand how players discover the App (attribution)
- To display content in your preferred language
- To respond to your support requests
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the App
Do We Share Your Data?
We share data only with the following third-party service, and only the data described above:
AppsFlyer — receives your advertising identifier (where permitted), anonymous identifier, and attribution data (installation source, campaign name) for analytics and marketing measurement. See their Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share data with any other third parties except as required by law.
How Long Do We Keep It?
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Anonymous identifier | Until you clear app data or uninstall |
| Advertising identifier (GAID / IDFA) | Managed by your device operating system; you can reset it at any time |
| Attribution data | Managed by AppsFlyer; tied to your app installation |
| Cookies & local storage | Follow standard browser rules; cleared when you clear app data |
| Support requests | Kept only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry |
| Game data (scores, achievements) | Stored on-device only; removed when you uninstall |
How Is My Data Protected?
All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Some network connections within the App may use unencrypted HTTP where necessary, but no personal data is transmitted over these connections. Your locally stored game data is protected by your device's own security measures.
What Are My Choices?
You have full control over your data:
- Reset your advertising identifier — on Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads; on iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising
- Revoke App Tracking Transparency permission (iOS only) — Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
- Clear app data — this resets your anonymous identifier, clears cookies and local storage, and removes all locally saved game progress
- Uninstall the App — removes all locally stored data from your device
- Request data deletion — contact us at the email below to request deletion of any data associated with your use of the App. You also have the right to request access to or correction of that data, and, where applicable under laws such as GDPR or CCPA, to object to or restrict its processing
Is This App Safe for Children?
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to remove it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
How Will I Know If This Policy Changes?
If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version within the App and on our website with a new "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to check back from time to time, though we don't expect frequent changes.
